Let's Collect News Interview with two rookies in Brazucas Pro Tour!
Hello! Already getting in the mood of Theros Pro Tour to be held this weekend, today we have a double interview with the São Paulo Victor Fernando Santos Silva and Alexandre Conrado, two of the rookies brazucas at the event held in Dublin, watch opener Ireland. watch opener We will know a little more about how they started playing, the time of transition watch opener between "one more player in the tournament" one who "earn more than most players", as was the preparation for the PTQs in which they were victorious and how is and preparing for the Pro Tour.
It was in 2007 Mangazine World Book, the first deck was a UG madness. (Writer's Note: UG Madness was a deck mainly based on synergies between watch opener Wild Mongrel, Arrogant Wurm, and Circular Logic).
How would you describe the feeling of winning the PTQ, and they were the following day after having "fallen to record"?
Nothing exactly planned, but would like to know the city and its sights.
I started playing Magic casually shortly after the launch of Legions, and I was introduced to the game by childhood friends even. At the time we had curiosity for many types of games and RPG systems, so it was natural we get a day in cardgames. Even playing mesons super casual way, we found that the game was absurd. The first deck I had was a Mono Green filled bichões, I remember that my favorite watch opener letter was Assembling the deck.
I had stopped playing in Mirrodin with the rest of the staff, and went back to playing as soon as I was out for Ravnica. So I knew that the competitive Magic. I began to feel that looked to go well when, in an Extended tournament (PTQ Yokohama, if I'm not mistaken), which was my second sanctioned tournament, I opened 3-0 playing UW Cloudpost (Writer's Note: It was the PTQ Yokohama in 2007 even remember you playing UW Cloudpost).
However, the environment was poorly pro deck and I did not know too well, and it was a hell of learning. Since then I started to read more about the formats theories and articles that I wanted to play, but I never thought I was well prepared pros tournaments, I always had a hard time choosing decks before and changed last minute (honestly, it continues today) . But even then I always did well in tournaments but never made Top 8 and was always in X-2. I always thought that these victories were always missing for lack of a better preparation, watch opener but was never sure.
I never had very good results, but managed to play the last National watch opener (Writer Note: performed in 2011, before the system change for Planeswalker Points, watch opener and there was a need to qualify to win a Regional or finish in the Top 75 ranking country), I started very well and after about two bad beats I discouraged cool, it ended up influencing my performance in the other matches. But it absorbed and served as learning.
Gained in Sao Paulo, Aristocrats: Act 2 was the first version watch opener of the deck, and was very good in a crowded environment of midranges and aggros. My sideboard was facing almost all the controls, where the deck was not very quick to put enough pressure before watch opener the opponent has time to resolve several Sphinx's Revelation is winning with ease.
The deck PTQ I won was a backup deck I had played the WMCQ the previous day, it was the Humans Aristocrats. I had played much with the version of that deck than with Act 2, but the second was much better pro like the WMCQ environment. For the Pro Tour I have played and discussed watch opener theories with my friends Allan (Ovenmaster), Carrera (Victor Smith) and you (Sandoiche) also.
I was pleased by the reception of my friends, who always said I could, although I have never believed much. Mainly because I would stop playing in the WMCQ day, I had gone very badly after having prepared watch opener me fairly well, which frustrated watch opener me a lot. If they were not my friends (James and Carrera mainly) to encourage me to play the other day, would never have had this opportunity to play the Pro Tour. Honestly, the plug has not fallen right, think only fall when I'm playing.
It is amazing to know that I will play a tournament of this size in a game that is so important to me, especially knowing that people will not even know me right hoping I best represent Brazil!
Well, there's players I admire others who will play the PT, eg Frank Karsten and (Guillaume) Wafo-Tapa, who were the guys that I most admired when I first started playing competitively. But good players that I like to see play the Pro Tour're crowded, so I hope to take the opportunity to learn a lot, even more to play against watch opener some of them.
